Nearly finished my supply of the Net Force Explorer books, but this one has a reasonable description of an online adventure type game which kept it interesting.

It seems that in almost all of these books, one of the Explorers goes slightly outside the limits they're supposed to, succeeds anyway, gets told off by the Net Force guy - James Winters, but is still allowed to stay on the force because what they did was such an excellent job.
